Hello! My name is Tom Mason, and that’s not my dog. I’m a director living in Los Angeles, California. There’s little that makes me laugh more than starting with a dumb idea, taking it way too seriously, and committing to it with all my little heart.

In addition to creating projects of my own, which you can check out on my Work page, I’ve spent the past 9 years working on the production team of numerous TV shows. I’ve been a Producer for content on Adult Swim and FX, and been a Production Supervisor and Coordinator for projects on TBS and Netflix.

I’ve worked in editing, writing, sound designing, color grading, and more. All in an attempt to understand not just the role of a director but everyone involved in the creation of a project. My ultimate goal as a director is to play to the strengths of each individual team member. Solid communication and collaboration leads to the best finished products.
